Over the years peoples opionions always change, including mine. One issue that sticks out in my mind the most that i have changed my opionion about is interacial dating. I have never really thought or cared about the issue until i had to write a paper about it in highschool. My opinion before was pretty neutral and still to some extent remains that today, but once interviewing and researching about interacial dating, my view on the situtaion did change. I used to think it was abnormal or weird to see an african-american with a white person, because it was not very common, but interviewing this one couple when doing a project on the issue, i never really realized how much effort that interacial people have to put in defending the relationship. They said for the first year of the relationship that they spent way to much time caring about what people though, and defending the relationship than actually having one. After doing this project i soon learned that it shouldnt matter the color of the skin, its who the person is inside that counts.
